Selection Process
All product entries will be judged by a panel of electrical experts, including engineers, contractors, and plant/facility personnel, selected by the EC&M editorial staff from a pool of the magazine’s readers. The results of the initial judging will produce a Category Winner in multiple product categories.

EC&M magazine subscribers will vote for their favorite Category Winner through an online voting form on the EC&M website. These votes will determine the 2024 Product of the Year Platinum, Gold (1st runner-up), and Silver (2nd runner-up) winners.

In both category winner judging and the final online readers’ poll, in the event of a tie, the EC&M editorial staff will cast the final vote.

Eligibility
All entries must meet these criteria:

1. The product must be available for purchase in the United States.
2. The product must be available for purchase between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024. (Redesigns or significant modifications occurring within the entry dates will be considered at the magazine’s discretion and must be presented as such.)
3. An employee or an authorized representative of the manufacturer that produces the product must submit the form.

There is no limit to the number of products each company may enter.

Entries that do not meet required guidelines or present false or misleading information will be disqualified, and entry fees forfeited.

Entries: Your entry must be submitted according to the above guidelines. There is no limit to the number of products each company may enter. Each entry should be submitted separately. Entries that do not meet the required guidelines or ones that are not submitted properly may be disqualified without a refund.

Fees

• Early Bird Entry Fee: $395 per product
• Regular Entry Fee: $450 per product
